Privacy
This page covers the Unio website. It's short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you fill in the form or email us, we get what you type: your name, your local, your email, your mobile number if you give it, what you picked, and how you heard about us.
- Where you came from. If you arrived from one of our ads or emails, the form notes which one, so we know what's working.
- How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help. It uses cookies and collects things like your browser, device, rough location and the pages you view. It doesn't tell us who you are.
How we use it
- To get back to you about what you asked, by email or by text if you asked us to.
- To understand which pages and ads are useful, in total, not person by person.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who sees it
The Unio team, to answer you. Your message is emailed to us and kept in our customer system so nothing gets lost. The services that run this website, our email and our analytics handle it on our behalf, and only for that purpose. Some of them may store it outside Canada.
How long we keep it
As long as we're talking with you, and afterwards only as long as we need a record of the conversation. Ask us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email hello@unioapp.com or call 709-800-9095.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on, to turn off analytics.
The Unio app
This page is about the website. Your local's member information inside the Unio app is covered by your agreement with us.
